Dog Day School - Daycare & Training Combined

"finishing school for a well-mannered dog"

Our Dog Day School program is an alternative to dog daycare for owners who want a well-trained dog. While you're at work, our experienced trainers work with your dog. Each day includes:

One-on-one training sessions with an experienced dog trainer, customized to meet your behavior goals. Behaviors include loose-leash walking, coming when called, sit, down, and stay.

Physical exercise, including leash walks, tug, fetch, and agility training.

Recreation. Dogs in our program enjoy learning tricks as well as the basics of dog agility, like jumping and climbing.

Social time, if appropriate. Friendly dogs will enjoy off-leash playtime with each other.

Working for meals. Your dog's breakfast (and lunch, if applicable) will be delivered during training sessions and from challenging food puzzles to stimulate your dog's mind.

Dog Day School is open to dogs over 8 months old. (If you've got a pup younger than 8 months, check out our Puppy Day School program.)

Getting Started

Our program is customized to meet your dog's training needs. Each program starts with an initial consultation with a member of our dog training staff. You'll tell us about your dog's undesirable behavior and what your goals are for your best friend. We'll tell you how we can help.

At the consultation, we will give you advice to follow right away to help you with your dog's behavior. We will help you choose "continuing education" - either private lessons or Flex Classes - where you will learn what your dog has been working on in school and how to follow through. Plus, we're just an e-mail away - if at any time you have a question about your dog's behavior, we're here for you!
